Baby and Toddler Sign

This simple signing class will be themed each week around concepts your early communicator will enjoy and be most likely to use in daily life.

Research suggests that having sign as an early skill will help develop young children's communication and literacy skills, and reduce their levels of fruatration: resulting in less challenging behaviour and temper tantrums.

This class is ideal for non verbal babies and toddlers, but also for families wanting to provide a little more support in their child's language development.

Baby and toddler sign will begin with a short introductory discussion and modelling of the signs of the day, followed by free time to explore themed activities whereby you will be encouraged to consolidate the signs through play and talk.

The session will then end with music/song that will incorporate the signs learnt in class.
